I love foxes. The have always been my favourite animal. So I'm in love with this fox pin from Kitsun. The big gold fox pin. Granted it is £100 and I don't have that to spare right now - but I suppose there is no harm in looking!!
I am struck by that fact that this fox appears as if he has sculled at least three cans of devil's bit cider in under five minutes....brilliantI've loved foxes since I was a little girl. I know farmers considered them pests, but I had a collection of books written by the journalist Tom McCaughren about the magical world of a group of foxes when I was little. The books were pure escapism for a young girl living in the countryside - especially a young girl who has just been moved from the UK and is totally lost in a world of hills, greenery and countryside which she never knew existed. I loved the idea that the foxes could talk to each other and had personalities. It also raised important green issues as well. This was also coupled with the fact that relatives had started buying me teddy bears shaped like foxes. I had at least five. But the most important one, was Rusty. My teddy that went everywhere with me.
