Arrmanatha Nasir, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said, "In principle, all threats aimed at Indonesian embassies, consulates and diplomatic staff are taken seriously. We have a standard procedure to respond to such threats".
Arrmanathan explained that after receiving the threat they contacted Nigerian Security authorities and are investigating to what extent the embassy, envoys and diplomatic staff will be affected.
Arrmanatha further confirmed that the Indonesian Embassy in Australia received similar terror threat recently and after analysis, steps have been taken to minimize the threat.
The terror threat to Indonesian Embassy in Abuja was sent by a group who identify themselves as MOG. The Nigerian police are investigating the threat.
